Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators

Description

Applicants should review the qualification criteria before applying, as they must meet the requirements to be considered for the AAA-ICDR Roster.  Consequently, even candidates with strong credentials may not be added to the Roster.
Applicants for the Arbitration and Mediation Panels will be required to upload a professional resume or CV.
 
  • Applicants for the Arbitration Panel must provide a cover letter explaining their interest in joining the Roster and a letter of recommendation. The candidate’s letter of recommendation should be from an active professional in the candidate’s field, but not from any firms or professional associations in which the candidate currently is employed or on which the candidate currently serves as an officer, director, or trustee.   • Applicants for the Mediation Panel must submit a cover letter describing their current mediation practice and a letter of recommendation from counsel or a party who was part of a mediation the candidate conducted in the preceding six months. Arbitrators and mediators on the AAA-ICDR Roster are subject to annual requirements, including ADR training and a yearly Panel Fee payment.  To review a current version of the Standards and Responsibilities for Members of the AAA® Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators, click here (note that this document is subject to applicable updates).  In joining the Roster, you agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this document.
